A food manufacturer with decades of experience in the development and marketing of consumer goods: At several locations and a central campus in Germany, around 1,700 employees are committed to strong brands and high-quality products that are successfully sold both domestically and abroad.
Efficient reporting through a unified platform
The company set itself the goal of modernizing its financial reporting structure and placing it on a uniform basis. The existing environment consisted of numerous separate components with different data sources and dashboards, which led to inconsistent results and a high level of manual effort. The use of a business intelligence (BI) tool was intended to create a central and reliable database to enable more efficient analysis and reporting.

Our contribution
House of PM sets up a Project Management Office as an external service provider for this purpose. The range of services also includes recording project progress, preparing C-level reports, and communicating with stakeholders.
In addition to the varying interests of the project sponsors, other project-specific challenges included changing roles during the course of the project and the requirement for an international, cross-time zone rollout. The large number of different logistics chains and tight constraints due to fixed IT release dates also had to be taken into account.
