Julia Hartenstein | Project Management

Project management inspires me because it works. It creates clarity and orientation to understand and achieve goals. It increases focus, motivation, and often also the joy of work.

“When I get to help teams work together to reach their goals, I feel like I'm doing the right thing.”

The right methods are the building blocks. Collaboration is the cement that holds everything together. That's how I see projects, and that's how I experience House of PM. When working with clients, I look for solutions that fit both their requirements and their team. At House of PM, I am part of a community that lives and breathes project management, seeks out new challenges, and supports each other.

What I particularly appreciate here is the team. Trust, openness, and mutual support characterize our collaboration. From the very beginning, I was encouraged to try new things and grow. Experienced colleagues have given me confidence, and regular training courses have helped me get up to speed quickly. I also see diversity as a big advantage: while some studied business administration or computer science, others come from microbiology or political science backgrounds, and I myself studied art history.

The projects are also diverse: industries, teams, project cultures, and durations vary greatly. In two years, I was able to accompany interim assignments, work in consulting and training, and also take on internal projects. This variety allows me to constantly develop new skills and ensures that I never get bored.

And when I'm not managing projects? Then I explore architecture, design, and nature, learn Swedish, cook for friends, play sports, and travel to gain new perspectives. This mix keeps me alert, inspires me, and gives me exactly the energy I need for my work.

To all applicants who are enthusiastic about this opportunity: Be brave! What's important is curiosity, enjoyment of projects, and a desire to work together. At House of PM, you can develop your skills, take on responsibility, and make a difference together.
